Marco De Maglie is an innovative network engineer with a solid background in enterprise networks and carrier telecommunications. He has been working in the IT industry since 2006, initially as a systems administrator and information security consultant, going on to become a network engineer for the United Nations.
Marco graduated in Computer Science from La Sapienza University of Rome and obtained a post-graduate diploma in Advanced Networking through Telecom Italia Learning Services. In addition to being a member of the GIAC advisory board, Marco currently holds GPEN, GNFA and GDSA certifications. In the networking domain he is CCNA and CCNP (Routing & Switching) certified.
Focusing on hybrid-cloud network architecture, some of his current activities involve engineering and deployment of next-generation enterprise networks.
When he’s not doing all of this, Marco enjoys working on his football skills.
